It’s time to change for sustainable seasoned soapstone cookware (Kalchatti), Seasoned kalchatti  made up of high quality mavukal stone which call as Maakal.

It has been seasoned  by traditional process using natural castor oil and turmeric powder for one week and with Rice water for one week, So we can directly use in gas stove. We can make sambar,rasam and all type of curries veg and non veg by using agam seasoned soapstone. We can use regular dish washer for cleaning. Do not cook in high flame or do direct seasoning (tadka/ oil talipu) for the initial one month.
